What have you been doing to pass the time during quarantine? 

I’ve been watching movies, taking pictures, editing, spending more time with my dog and my family, etc.

What are you doing to make the best out of your senior year?

I’ve been trying to keep a positive attitude regardless of the global crisis we are in and also trying to make every moment as memorable as possible.

How are you staying in touch with your classmates? 

I’ve been texting and calling some of my classmates to make sure they are doing okay or if they need anything.

How has virtual learning changed the way you study?

Virtual learning has changed the way I study because I have to adjust to a completely different system from the one I was used to. I have to be more responsible and avoid distractions when I need to stay focused on any school related assignment.

How have you prepared for the challenges you are facing this school year? 

From what I experienced last semester, I knew this new school year would be hard so I made sure I arranged a schedule and prepared more materials for me to work with to keep everything more organized.

Describe your workplace at home. 

My workplace at home is mainly composed of the desk I use all the time, my computer, my agenda, pencils and pens, index cards, and two marker dry erase boards.

What song has kept you motivated throughout quarantine? Why? 

Stuck with u – Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber, because the song reminds me that maybe I can’t go out like I normally would but I can definitely spend much more time with my family.

What are your hopes for after you graduate from high school? 

My hopes for after I graduate from high school are to move out of El Paso and attend college.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen? 

First of all, don’t be too scared. High School will be a stressful era but as long as you do everything you are being asked to do, you’ll be fine. Always strive to go above the expectations for better opportunities. I can’t guarantee that high school will be like High School Musical, but it will for sure be a necessary journey full of lessons that you’ll need in life.
